AMA Road Reporter App Reviews

Great App

Quick and easy to use

Amazing app

I use it constantly to monitor traffic and road conditions. Saved me multiple times!

Great!

This app is a life saver. Helps me decide every day which route will get me to work the quickest. Love that it sends me alerts around the times I leave too.

Bugs

Full of bugs. Alerts are too quiet to hear. Always changing screens.

Never Any Road Condition Info

The road conditions always say N/A

Keeps crashing

App wont open. Cant give a positive review if you cant use the app.

Improvements needed

Great idea but some shortcomings. Id like a quick way to alter the route options to suit not an automatic shortest choice, but one that I know works better. Im looking for traffic reports on routes I often use but the app chose routes that I know present problems regularly (like routing me through town where I encounter more traffic lights and stop signs and a railroad track that is busy) (in another case on a busy connector road with many lights when there is a better option). I tried the waypoints. It worked in one case but in others it did backtracks. Since AMA stopped doing the Twitter reports and Alberta 511 took over that source is useless. Too YEG oriented. This is a great alternative if we can get it right.

Great app

I really enjoy using this app, especially since I commute through heavy traffic areas. It has many useful features and I find it quite useful. One improvement I would like to see is the current speed (according to GPS) displayed in Drive Mode.

Incredible

This is a must for traveling in Alberta.

Great features

Really like this app. Would like a button to report heavy congestion in addition to the 3 that are there now. That said overall it is great and I love the alerts and ease of use! (You can add a waypoint if you want to alter the route they automatically choose for you this will change you automatically to your chosen route - hint add extra waypoints to force the route your way and then click to disable the point in their route - this usually works)

Very handy

Nice job AMA! Prefer this over the CAA app.
